History

 

1976-1977
Rev Juan Rios and his wife, Dolores Rios, started WLC in 1976 in the Inwood section of the Manhattan. Unfortunately, in their first year of ministry Rev. Rios was diagnosd with cancer and succumbed to the diseased in 1977

 

 

1977- 1989
After the death of Rev. Rios, Rehoboth Council installed Rev. Marina Perez and her husband, Ruben Perez, as pastors of WLC. Along with their three children Pastors Marina and Ruben Perez pastored the church for twelve years

 

 

1989-1993
Pastors Marina and Ruben Perez retired and Pastors Yvette and Nelson Santos became pastor at WLC. During the Santos tenure WLC moved from a storefront church to the present location in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.

 

 

1993-2003
Rehoboth coucil installed Pastor Flor and Benny Andino in the summer of 94′

 

 

 

2003- present
Pastor Carlos Franco and his wife, Yolanda Franco, were installed as pastors in the Month of February.
